There is something to be said for the solitude that can only be experienced in Wyoming. The solitude that comes with the silence of the mind created by standing on a giant stone monolith in the middle of a Wyoming high desert with 70 mile an hour winds encompassing your body. These experiences bond us to the ancient stones that have been enduring the harsh Wyoming weather for millennia.
This body of work is based around these thoughts and feelings, and designed to instill that primal since of solitude that can be found whilst drifting amongst the domes of the Sweetwater. Each print is a plea to our base desires to explore, to pursue, and to wander. Sweetwater Domes was shot over the summer and fall of 2013 in the Granite Mountains of Central Wyoming.
